Building a Modern AD
摘要
Now that we have collected most of the pieces that make up a well-engineered Active Directory implementation, it is time to put the puzzle together. In this chapter, we will engage in the very rare exercise of building a sizable production-ready AD organization from scratch, i.e., on a “green field.” While the greenfield approach is not immediately applicable to real-life transitioning situations (we will take care of those in Chapter 11 ), the prerequisites, decision-making processes, and implementation milestones are much more visible here, making this approach perfectly suitable for the “what could have been/what we should aim for” conversation.
