Competitive Semiconductor Product Strategy
摘要
Let me share one of my childhood stories. When I was in school, I was an academically low-scoring student, although I liked to study. One day, my sister asked me to answer the difference between distance and displacement. I tried to say something with my young brain at the time, but eventually, she figured out I couldn’t answer. She explained what distance and displacement mean and encouraged me to measure my efforts as distance and displacement. I understood that we could walk miles in distance and still have zero displacement. I also realized that displacement is progressive only if it is in the positive direction. This helped me assess where I am putting my efforts and what direction those efforts could lead me to. Therefore, a direction check relative to where I was with a clear goal enforced a forward moment. I eventually topped my class but the key to success starts with target setting and continuously evaluating your displacement relative to the set targets using a strategy.
