Information Curation

Enterprise AI applications are driven by a dynamic flow of information. Information, as described in this book, is the combination of data and context. The data comes in many different formats and temporal patterns. The context for an information set is defined by the business purpose and incentives that are defined around a specified combination of data and related processes. Quality information is the lifeblood of successful AI applications, and in this chapter, we will discuss the different types of information available, the nature of that information through its life cycle, and strategies for acquiring and maintaining quality information.
