Business Transformation with AI/ML

Several of the previous chapters have already discussed artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) and AI/ML services from AWS. Chapter 1 introduced the basics of AI and ML and how they are related to each other. It discussed the capabilities of two AWS AI/ML services, Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock, and how they are architected. In Chapter 4 discussed SAP-related use cases using AWS AI services like Amazon Textract. Chapter 5 explored how predictive maintenance and predictive quality can be implemented using AI services like Amazon Monitron, Amazon Lookout for Equipment, and Amazon Lookout for Vision. It also discussed how voice technology can be implemented in the shop floor by using Amazon Alexa. In this chapter, we will explore how all the AWS AI and ML services fit together holistically and we will dive deep into the features of generative AI. We will start with the basics of generative AI and then discuss use cases with example architecture patterns.
