摘要

As a modern development platform, FileMaker can be integrated with external systems using a wide range of technologies. Users can easily use and share snapshot link files that provide bookmarking capabilities, instantly opening a database and taking the user to a specific context. A FileMaker URL can be embedded in a web page or emailed to automatically open and perform a script. Custom AppleScripts can be written on macOS to automate database tasks and create integrated workflows with other scriptable applications. A database can reach out to connect to ODBC and JDBC databases or become an ODBC data source for external systems. The FileMaker Data API offers a modern way to integrate databases with web services and external applications using the Representational State Transfer (REST) architecture.
