Exploring a Database Window

A database window provides an interactive view into an open database file. When a database file is opened, a default window opens. Users and scripts can open and close additional windows, but, once the last of a file’s windows closes, the file is closed. FileMaker’s windows have different window modes for data entry and one for development. They also have several content views that determine how records are displayed.
