Introduction

I consider myself one of the many explorers of nature, investigating its behavior and mechanisms. Such explorations can have many different aspects, emphases, and approaches, using various tools. Professionally, I am a college professor who studies and teaches the natural physical processes in ocean water and atmosphere. My background combines meteorology and oceanography. Most of my work involves studying the movement of water in the ocean and estuaries under various forcing factors, such as astronomical tides and weather.
