A Digital Twinning Process for Metaverse Cities

In this chapter, I will focus on the data-driven digital twinning process (DDTP) for metaverse cities, an extension of the architectural framework from Chapter 5 . The process, energized by the Data Analytics Flywheel (DAFW), includes a series of steps: understanding the problem, collecting and preparing data, visualizing it, modeling, evaluating models, and deploying the best solution. This cycle ensures the continuous alignment and updating of both the physical and digital aspects of a city. The chapter will wrap up with Virtual Singapore as a case study, underscoring the importance of systematic execution and research in the development of smart metaverse cities.
