Introduction to Viva Engage: Understanding the Platform

The Viva Engage platform brings people together to connect with one another and with their communities. It allows individuals to share their experiences and ideas and find belonging at work. Viva Engage is part of Microsoft's employee experience platform. It enables organizations to connect and discover their purpose and insight. In this introductory chapter on Viva Engage, we will introduce Viva Engage to understand the platform, the potential rebranding from Yammer, a description of Viva Engage features, a few use cases, and how Viva Engage fits into the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
