Engineering Data Pipelines Using Microsoft Azure

Azure cloud computing is a fully managed computing service by Microsoft. The Azure concept was introduced early in 2008 at a conference, and Microsoft launched the Windows Azure service in 2010, which was rebranded as Microsoft Azure. Currently it provides a comprehensive suite of computing, database, analytics, and other services through various deployment modes. Microsoft has data centers all across the globe and serves various industries. In this chapter, we will look at some of Azure's key components and services, with a focus on data engineering and machine learning.
