Engineering Data Pipelines Using Google Cloud Platform

In this chapter, we will look at Google Cloud Platform, one of the early adopters of cloud computing. We will look at exploring various services of GCP, focusing on data engineering and machine learning capabilities. We will start by understanding core concepts of Google Cloud Platform and looking at key services. This is followed by a detailed look at the various data system services offered by Google Cloud Platform. We will finally look at Google Vertex AI, a fully managed machine learning platform for building, training, and deploying machine learning models within one service.
