Token Health, Longevity, and Final Words

  • Alexander Rees-Evans

摘要

During your time perusing this book, you’ll have noticed that many a time the terms “token health” and “token longevity” have been cited. Almost all chapters cite them, but just what do they signify and to what extent are they important to your token? This chapter could indeed be reserved for a new book as we’re no longer in the designated realm of launching your token; here we stride into the domain of what’s to come. Although this doesn’t directly concern your token launch, your token’s life doesn’t just stop once you’ve achieved your TGE. It isn’t an automated robot for which, once built, only some minor maintenance is required every so often. Think of your token more as a child. Following this narrative, your token launch is in essence the successful birth of your newborn baby. For all of the parents out there, you know that this is only just the beginning of a wonderful new adventure. For those of you who aren’t yet parents, you’re in for a very big surprise! The birth of your child isn’t when you stop becoming a parent, it’s when you start. As your baby will start to grow, you’ll need to adapt and facilitate their development. During this period of evolution, your worries, requirements, attention, and assistance won’t disappear, but they will change. Your interaction and implication levels will evolve alongside your child. It’s the exact same thing for your token, you will watch as your token matures and faces different challenges during its existence. One of the worst books that could exist would be on how to take care of a child, but ends after the first day your baby is brought to life. Given this reasonable analogy, it seems only right that we touch upon what awaits you after the birth of your token and how to take care of it.
