摘要

An ANN is a deep learning method that imitates the neural functionality of the human brain. The human brain is composed of billions of neurons that consist of dendrites, axon, and nucleus. Information is communicated between the excited neurons through electric and chemical signals. Figure 6-1 shows the synapse or synaptic junction formed through the connection of the axon of one neuron and the dendrites of another neuron. The axon and dendrites acts as the neuro transmitter and receiver during information transmission in the human brain. The information received through dendrites is processed at the nucleus and in turn produces electric and chemical signals to transmit to the next neuron through axon tips when its threshold level is reached.
