Planning in LEGO Virtually with Architecture: The Model Before the Model

Even if you don’t know what it is that you are going to build, you should begin to plan it out using Stud.io or some other virtual LEGO program. I would also recommend building a smaller model of what you want to build in the style of LEGO architecture. Once you know the relative size of something that you are about to build, I would recommend creating a strong LEGO foundation for it. Your LEGO foundation should be thick, and made to be easily expanded on in case you ever want to add on to it.
