Using Direct Routing with Teams Phone
摘要
Direct Routing, introduced in Chapter 4 , is one of the available methods to integrate Microsoft Teams with the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). It enables users to make and receive calls by connecting Teams with a PSTN carrier, and it is particularly useful when the carrier doesn’t offer Operator Connect. Direct Routing is also a solution for interoperability with third-party PBXs and to enable legacy analog devices with Teams. As you can see in Figure 5-1, the SBC will route calls between Teams, on-prem, and the PSTN.
