How Do We Judge Accuracy?

Now that we’ve looked at what the field of Biometrics is and taken a closer look at several specific sources of biometric data, we’re going to step back and define some of the ways we talk about performance in terms of correctness. We’ll think critically about what it means to be correct and we’ll consider the various factors contributing to the effectiveness of biometrics.
