A (Brief) Introduction to Responsible AI

Just to get this out of the way first, this is a book on how to use AI as a tool to help you in your daily work life within the Microsoft 365 environment. It’s not a book on AI ethics. Such books exist, but amidst such a rapidly emerging environment, I’m sure they need to be updated on an almost daily basis. I welcome you to do your own exploring online at the vast legislature that’s both been passed and in progress. You can read about the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (what is shaping to be the first multinational legislation around AI) and what the United States is thinking about on a federal level targeting AI law versus what legislature individual states have already passed. In fact, if you look up AI regulations in the country you’re in, there’s probably a few plans in the works to govern artificial intelligence.
