If I had gone into hibernation 15 years ago and woke up today, I wouldn’t recognize many aspects of the world. For instance, when flying on an airplane, we no longer need to carry printed boarding passes or flight tickets. So much has gone digital. To wish a friend happiness on their birthday, we can simply order a cake to be delivered to our friend’s house in a couple of minutes. In India as elsewhere, everything is now entirely digital. Even many street vendors use QR codes for purchases.
