AI for Creative Writing

Before exploring how creatives, whether acting professionally or as amateurs, can benefit from using AI – it’s worth asking the question “Will AI render creatives redundant?” The answer is a resounding no. Not maybe, but in almost every case, simply no. AI systems which aid or somewhat replace human design, writing, artistry, and creativity are only as valuable as the usefulness of their outputs. The first creative human endeavor on which AI’s impact is worth considering is written language and the laws and norms which protect that form of original expression.
