LEGO and Chocolate: Rules of the Game

Now that you are aware of the key learning concepts that the LEGO and Chocolate simulation is designed to teach, let’s dive into the game dynamic and learn about the various roles and their interaction patterns. In this chapter, I will share with you the basic game flow and several hidden modifications that you, as a facilitator, will be introducing during the game. Some of these modifications are there to create new process bottlenecks; others are to alleviate them and highlight the benefits of collaboration. This chapter will also shed light on the emotional side of each round so that you know exactly what may emerge and how to set the right expectations with the participants.
