Safety in the Workplace Coaching Game

In this chapter, I will introduce you to the Safety in the Workplace coaching game—a collection of ideas, practices, and tools that have proven to be effective at enabling the culture of experimentation and learning essential to the success of the DevSecOps initiatives. Designed as an action-oriented extension to the Fear in the Workplace game, this set includes the tried-and-true practices from my own experience coaching teams and leaders in organizations internationally as well as ideas and inspirations from the work of Amy C. Edmondson, Brené Brown, Jim and Michele McCarthy, Heidi Helfand, Keith McCandless, Henry Lipmanowicz, and many others.
