Data Migration Design

The data migration design phase is the most technically intensive and typically the lengthiest migration phase. The primary deliverable of this phase is the creation of migration projects and programs, which also undergo their initial validation during two data migration tests. The shared objective of these tests is to validate the selected migration approach for each object, develop migration logic for the entire dataset, encompassing exceptional cases, and determine the optimal time interval for executing the data migration. Both tests are carried out in the environment of the migration system (refer to Appendix A) in different clients and are based on Data Migration Test Plans, which serve as the second and final deliverable of this phase.
