The Trial Balance Semantic Model

In this chapter, we will create a trial balance semantic model based on the trial balance logical model from the previous chapter. In doing so, we will produce an identical semantic model for Tyrell Corp and Weyland Industries, except with different inputs. We will go through each of the semantic model stages covering Power Query, data modelling, and Data Analysis eXpressions (DAX). Finally, we will examine the outputs to understand how the semantic model can be used to reproduce income statements.
