Building a Reusable Solution

 In this chapter, we will bring together learning from the previous two chapters, highlighting the sixteen challenges in modelling the income statement. We will also learn about the semantic model stages and how the semantic model supports queries generated by Data Analysis eXpressions (DAX) and Multidimensional eXpressions (MDX). Finally, we will cover how these challenges are common across entities and, therefore, how an input-driven solution can be created for external reporting, reusing the same semantic model.
