Generative AI Customer End Uses

Based on my experience writing about and investing in Internet companies in the 1990s, I believe the evolution of generative AI will depend heavily on whether customers can find valuable ways to use the new technology. To that end, Chapter 3 answers questions including: Who uses generative AI? Which generative AI applications are most valuable to companies and end users? How have companies in specific industries – specifically health care and financial services – deployed generative AI? What lessons about what to do and what to avoid emerge from these case studies? How can end users make the most of generative AI? In general, experiments with generative AI – particularly in industries such as financial services and health care – have helped people accomplish more in less time than they could before.
