What Is Generative AI?

This chapter introduces the concept of generative AI. It defines generative AI and explains how it differs from other forms of AI. The chapter provides examples of how the technology is applied and offers business leaders a roadmap for how to build a useful generative AI application. It presents AI’s bright and dark sides. The chapter continues by discussing how I researched the book and presents the core concepts that guided my thinking.
