Digital Forensics
摘要
Digital forensics is a multidisciplinary field combining elements of law and computer science to collect and analyze data from computer systems, networks, wireless communications, and storage devices in a way that is admissible as evidence in a court of law. The scope of digital forensics has grown to include a broad range of devices and data types, from computers to smartphones and from emails to digital documents. This area of expertise is critical in criminal and civil contexts, where digital evidence can be crucial. It involves not only the extraction of data from digital devices but also the interpretation of this data, understanding its relevance to an investigation, and presenting it in a way understandable to nontechnical decision-makers.
