Safely Convincing Everyone

In this chapter, we look at one of our greatest challenges – safely convincing everyone to make changes in how they work. We begin with the cautionary tale of Dr Semmelweis, who pursued an idea that should have saved thousands of lives but was instead rejected. We take some lessons from Dr Semmelweis’s experience, plus explore some more lessons of our own. We finish with a checklist to use when trying to convince everyone.
