The unit that you purchased has likely been preprogrammed to blink when it is powered up (perhaps you’ve checked this already). This makes it easy to test that it is a working unit. There are a few other important details regarding power, reset, and LEDs that need to be discussed in this chapter. Finally, the use of the ST-Link V2 programmer and a device probe will be covered.
