Motion and Interactivity

One characteristic that tends to distinguish generative art from other art forms is its ability to incorporate interactivity, and, as a result, active audience participation. This audience – whether it be a single user on a laptop or a small crowd at an art installation – can then influence, or even determine, the end result. In essence, such art is dynamic; it moves; it responds; it flows. It isn't fixed and final.
