Development and Revision of the Erxin Scales
摘要
In the early 1980s, a longitudinal study was conducted, tracking 60 newborns over a period of three and a half years to collect early childhood developmental data. The data were later validated by comparing them with children of the same age, forming a developmental scale through collaborative efforts across multiple research centers. In 2005, revision of the scale was initiated, involving the development of a technical roadmap, item tests, and an item pool, determination of the main test agesMain test ages, and the creation of an original revised scaleOriginal revised scale. A nationwide representative sampleRepresentative sample was then used for standardization, with psychometric analysis carried out to determine the number of test items. Eventually, the revision was completed, and an instruction manual for the scale was formulated.
