Analysing the Effectiveness of Lebanese Accessibility Guidelines: A Comprehensive Review

Specifically, Article 34 of Part 4 outlines the mandatory architectural standards that both new and existing public and private buildingsBuildings” must comply with to enhance accessibilityAccessibility” for individuals with disabilitiesIndividuals with disabilities” . The National Council for Disabled AffairsNational Council for Disabled Affairs (NCDA)” (NCDA) is tasked with developing these standards, as detailed in Article 34, subheading A. The chapter critically reviews the 2019 Arabic version of the accessibility guide for individuals with disabilities, which provides guidelines for accessing public spacesPublic spaces” , buildings, and interior features.
