The “Open Source Tools for Action on the SDGs” initiative is based in the City of Los Angeles (L.A.), U.S. It started in December 2017 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2030, at the time when the SDGs’ lifetime is expected to end. The thematic sustainability areas the project focuses on are ‘social’, ‘governance/management’, and ‘technology’. The primary industries involved in this project are Finance, Professional and Business Services, Creative Industry, and Manufacturing.
