The Impact of Green Technology Innovation and Digital Transformation on the Environmental Performance of Logistics Enterprises

Green technology innovation and digital transformation play an important role in the green governance of logistics enterprises. This paper takes the data of logistics enterprises listed from 2012 to 2021 as the research sample for empirical analysis. Firstly, it analyzes the impact of green technology innovation on the environmental performance of logistics enterprises by constructing a fixed effect model. Then, the threshold effect model is used to analyze the difference in the impact of green technology innovation on the environmental performance of logistics enterprises under different degrees of digital transformation. The results show that green technology innovation can help logistics enterprises improve their environmental performance. Digital transformation has a marginal increasing positive moderating effect on the improvement of green technology innovation on the environmental performance of logistics enterprises. The impact effect of green technology innovation on environmental performance and the threshold effect of digital transformation of logistics enterprises in the eastern region are stronger than those in the central and western regions. Based on this, this paper puts forward some suggestions for logistics enterprises to implement the concept of green development and introduce digital equipment in the whole process of logistics activities, so as to provide reference for logistics enterprises' green governance.
