Systematic Design of Efficient Circulating Oven to Ensure Functional Coating Quality

摘要

The consistency of the drying process has a significant impact on the quality of coated products. Through comprehensive and continuous research on the causes of coating drying defects, starting from the drying quality requirements of various products, combined with the basic principles of air jet fluid mechanics, based on the principle of heat exchange consistency, by controlling the wind temperature and pressure to ensure consistent drying effects, we have designed and manufactured an efficient circulation drying oven with systematic control; Through online monitoring, the drying process is accurately quantified and controlled. The dynamic mixing and diversion of cold and hot air through different functional areas of the air duct maintain a temperature error of <  ± 1 ℃ at the outlet of the air nozzle. This oven can be precisely adjusted according to the drying conditions of different functional coating products, ensuring consistent drying heat exchange rate of the coating and consistent evaporation rate of solvent on the coating surface without blind spots. It has achieved controllable solvent residue in the coating product, isotropic coating, consistent density, bending resistance, no lateral color difference, no longitudinal rib pattern, no internal stress deformation and warping, and no aging, brittleness/moire in the coating, and can maximally overcome the defects of uneven drying on the surface and inside of high viscosity thick coatings.
