摘要

Diabetes mellitus is a common chronic metabolic disease caused by insulin secretion deficiency or insulin dysfunction, with multiple clinical manifestations and serious complications, and is one of the main causes of death. Continuous blood glucose monitoring can obtain human blood glucose information in real time and more directly understand human blood glucose fluctuations, so as to detect and treat latent symptoms of high/low blood glucose as early as possible. With the development of 3D printing technology in the field of medical devices, biosensors have enormous potential in continuous diabetes monitoring. This article primarily investigates the recent advancements in glucose micro-needle sensors fabricated using 3D printing technology for blood glucose monitoring. It evaluates the performance differences resulting from various fabrication methods, thus elucidating the current status and future research directions in continuous diabetes monitoring. This facilitates also help bridge the gap between laboratory research and clinical care point in the future.
