“Revolution” and “Technological Aesthetics”

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, a large-scale ideological liberation movement took place in China. This movement came in response to the ideologies of the “Cultural Revolution”, which distorted and suppressed people’s nature, freedoms and lives. This movement manifested itself in various forms of “rebellion,” both in the realm of culture and ideology, and in attempts to represent individual images.
