摘要

Opisthorchiasis is a major public health problem in many parts of Southeast Asia, Europe, and Russia. The two important species of Opisthorchis are O. viverrini and O. felineus. O. viverrini is highly endemic in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Lao PDR, Vietnam, and Cambodia, while O. felineus in Europe and Russia (Ogorodova et al. 2015).
