Epidemiology of Parasitic Zoonoses
摘要
Infectious diseases that have spilled over from animals are designated as zoonoses. Zoon in Greek means animals and noson means disease. A range of epidemiological features like relationship between agent-definitive host and agent-intermediate host (s)-definitive host; simple to complex chain of transmission; effect of weather, climate, and ecology; and social and economic status of community are easily appreciable in parasitic infections and diseases.
