Indian Tick Typhus

Indian tick typhus (ITT) is caused by Rickettsia conorii characterized by fever, headache, vertigo, malaise and disturbance of vision, followed by arthromyalgia and a rash. The tick typhus occurs in Asia including India, East and South Africa and in Mediterranean region.
