Bartonellosis
摘要
Bartonellae are emerging zoonotic agents causing a clinically complex disease, bartonellosis. These are Carrion’s disease, cat scratch disease, chronic lymphadenopathy, trench fever, chronic bacteraemia, culture-negative endocarditis, bacillary angiomatosis, bacillary peliosis, vasculitis and uveitis. Bartonellae are also linked to loss of weight, hallucination, fatigue, partial paralysis, paediatric acute-onset neuropsychiatric syndrome (PANS) and vasoproliferative tumours (Cheslock and Embers 2019).
