摘要

Anaplasmosis or human granulocytic anaplasmosis (HGA) is a disease caused by the bacterium Anaplasma phagocytophilum transmitted to persons by bites of tick, primarily the blacklegged ticks (Ixodes scapularis) and the western blacklegged tick (Ixodes pacificus). It is often confounded with human granulocytic ehrlichiosis (HGE).
