Influenza Viruses: Avian and Swine Influenza
摘要
Influenza virus belongs to the family Orthomyxoviridae and genus Influenza. Influenza viruses are types A, B and C and cause flu in humans. Type A influenza viruses of pigs, horses and birds are important causes of seasonal, zoonotic and pandemic influenza. Seasonal influenza viruses are adapted to humans and are transmitted from human to human annually.
