摘要

Trichinellosis is a helminthozoonosis acquired by humans upon the ingestion of raw or poorly cooked meat of domestic and wild swine, bears, walruses, horses, badgers, dogs, cougars, jackals, and turtles. Meat and meat-derived products of all Trichinella-susceptible animals are a risk for humans if consumed raw or semi-cooked. Recent accumulated knowledge suggests that it is an important economic and public health problem. Trichinella spp. Circulates with a relatively high prevalence in backyard or free-ranging pigs of poor rural areas without the cover of veterinary services. This impacts trade.
