摘要

Anisakiasis is a parasitic disease caused by anisakid nematodes (worms), which can invade the stomach wall or intestine of humans. The infective larvae are ingested by fish or squid, which humans eat raw or undercooked, causing inflammation, perforation in the stomach, intestine, mesentery, and ascites. The cases are treated by the removal of the larvae via endoscopy or surgery.
