Structural Modification of Electrocatalysts for Enhanced Water Electrolysis
摘要
This book chapter is a detailed examination of the structural modification of electrocatalysts for achieving enhanced water electrolysis. First, the chapter provides an extensive analysis of the surface structure of catalysts. Then, it investigates various advanced techniques for modifying it, including core–shell nanostructures, 2D and 3D nanomaterials, defects engineering, and porous materials. Additionally, this chapter delves into the fundamental mechanisms and advantageous outcomes of these structural modifications in electrocatalysis while drawing attention to the current challenges and incoming future opportunities in this dynamic area.
