摘要

This chapter provides an in-depth overview of emerging techniques for synthesizing self-supported electrocatalysts. The chapter begins by discussing the essential role of electrocatalysts in enhancing electrochemical reactions and the advantages of self-supported electrocatalysts over conventional-supported electrocatalysts. The chapter then presents a comparative study of various synthesis techniques for self-supported electrocatalysts, including electrodeposition, hydro/solvothermal synthesis, supercritical hydro/solvothermal process, and chemical vapor deposition. Each method is discussed in detail, with a particular focus on the synthesis procedure, material properties, and electrochemical performance of the resulting self-supported electrocatalysts. Finally, the chapter provides insights into the advantages and limitations of each technique and explores their potential for the development of self-supported electrocatalysts.
