Eco Textiles: The Present and the Future

The purpose of this paper is to examine how sustainable innovations and wastewater management are currently being applied in the textile industry. Textiles are an essential part of our everyday lives and are significant to the world economy. There are several implementations such as innovation in sustainable products including sustainable production and packaging materials, life cycle assessment, Eco-design, and Eco-labeling. Textile sustainable process innovation includes the use of enzymes in textile processing, improved waste management techniques, eco-efficiency, supply chain management, and sustainable textile product production. The acquisition of environmental management systems, corporate policies, cooperative practices between businesses and consumers, distinctive business models, culture, and knowledge systems are additional examples of organizational sustainability innovation.
