National Security and Extraterritorial Jurisdiction

This chapter discusses the issue of national security and rules and practices of extraterritorial jurisdiction under ECL. Section 6.1 explores the legal meaning of national security under Chinese law. Section 6.2 analyzes export control issues relevant to national security. Section 6.3 analyzes the extraterritorial jurisdiction of China’s export control, especially its impacts on foreign parties. Section 6.4 then gives a brief conclusion.
