The James Webb Space Telescope, an evolution from the Hubble Space Telescope, stands as a testament to human endeavor in understanding the cosmos. Launched in 2021, its journey faced multiple challenges ranging from unexpected mechanical issues to environmental factors, causing numerous delays. However, once in place, Webb promises to elevate space observation to an unprecedented level. Its primary objective is to explore the formation processes of ancient stars. While Hubble provided glimpses into the universe from up to 13.4 billion years ago, Webb, thanks to its advanced infrared observation capabilities, could extend this vision by another 400 million years.
